Activities Assistant - part time; excellent care home for older people in Tadworth
Description
We are looking for an energetic, creative person with good all-round communication skills to support our activities programme. Ensuring our residents have access to an enjoyable, stimulating and safe range of activities is a crucial element of our care services. The role is for 16-20 hours per week, to be agreed at interview.
Experience: Previous experience of working in an educational and/or care setting in a similar role would be preferred but training will be given.
Essential Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, take part in group activities and possess basic arts and crafts skills. A self-starter with a caring disposition and plenty of ideas, you will be able to develop relationships with older people.
