OFFICE IS IN ORPINGTON BUT YOU WILL BE COVERING THE BROMLEY AREA.
CARE COORDINATOR - Orpington - GBP18,000 to GBP20,000 per annum FULL TIME
Our client is a growing domiciliary care company covering the boroughs of Bexley and Bromley, looking for an experienced and dynamic CARE COORDINATOR -; To make sure that all care packages are covered -
; To manage the day-to-day changes in care packages -
; Provide an emergency on-call service one weekend on /one weekend off -
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE-
- Accept/bid for work from Social Services, allocate and process referrals for new care packages.
- Manage availability of carers in an efficient optimal manner.
- To ensure all carers rosters are complete for the following week by the previous Thursday.
- Accepting and processing changes and amendments to existing care packages.
- Plan for cover of Annual Leave of care workers 3 weeks in advance.
- Working with other members of the administration team to ensure high quality service provision.
- Liaise with Social Services to deal with changes in care packages.
- Liaise with Service Users to ensure their requirements are met.
- Be able to provide emergency care cover.
- Keeping records and paper files up to date with changing information.
- Prepare a weekly report for Manager to identify capacity and resources.
- General office duties.
REQUIREMENTS -
- You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car.
- To be NVQ level 3 qualified or willing to work towards.
- To participate in out of hours on call on a rota basis.
- To have at least one years experience as a care coordinator or similar role.
- To be flexible and willing to work every other weekend.
- Prepared to cover care calls if required.
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills.
SALARY - GBP18,000 to GBP20,000 In addition to the basic salary, the candidate will be remunerated for business mileage, on-call duties on a rota basis and MUST HAVE USE OF OWN CAR.
