Essential Ladies Cutting – Monday 25th July 2016

An introduction to cutting ladies hair (No previous hairdressing experience is necessary for this course) after this 1 day course you will have an understanding of cutting ladies hair and will have practised your cut on a live model. Students will be required to provide a model for the afternoon practical workshop (or bring/purchase a block head mannequin).
Course Content

• The theory of cutting
• Sectioning
• Types of Cut
• Hairdressing Terminology
• Understanding the distribution of hair

Demonstrations of:

• Practical basic one length cut
• Layering and graduation
• Removal of bulk
• Precision and Point Cutting
• Outline of cuts

The afternoon session is a practical training session with live models (Or Block Heads)
Maximum of 13 students per course - £60.00 per student
Personal equipment required for this course is – cutting comb, scissor’s, brushes, dryer and irons
Cost includes Tea/Coffee and a light lunch £60.00
