RNIB Occasional Volunteer Driver - Scotland 8195

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VOLUNTARY UNPAID ROLE
Do you enjoy driving and meeting new people? Would you like to use your driving skills to help people with sight loss? If you have access to a suitable car, you could support people to attend our Looking Forward courses in your local area. These courses offer valuable practical and emotional support to recently diagnosed blind and partially sighted people.
This role requires membership of the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme (Adults).
What Will You Be Doing?
Drive to activities and events; Assist passengers in and out of vehicle; Sighted Guiding
Picking up local customers to get them to the event and taking them home after the course.
Some customers may have a guide dog, wheelchair or other mobility aids.

Ayr, Kilmarnock, Irvine, Perth, Dundee, Angus, Edinburgh City
