Attractive vintage oak twin pedestal writing desk.
A lovely vintage oak twin pedestal desk. We date this desk to the mid 20th century.
The desk comes as a single piece unit so please be aware regarding access etc.
The two end pedestals each sit on four square section legs.
It is fitted with a kneehole drawer, flanked either side by a bank of drawers. The left hand side has three equal sized drawers and the right has a small drawer over a deep filing drawer.
The outer drawers all have stand out bar handles with recessed finger grooves underneath. Two of the drawers have locks fitted (no key is supplied but a suitable replacement should be obtainable if required).
The desk has a height of 30.5" (78cm), a width of 51" (130cm) and a depth of 27" (69cm).
The kneehole space is 25" (64cm) high by 21" (54cm) wide.
This attractive vintage oak twin pedestal desk remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few minor indentations and light scratches to the top surface from past use and some of the drawers have a number of usage marks to their insides. The top drawer handles have a little bit of wear to their lower edge.
This remains a very stylish and elegant vintage oak twin pedestal desk ideal for the office or study etc. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
