Attractive vintage mahogany filing cabinet chest of drawers.

A lovely vintage mahogany cabinet. We date this cabinet to the early 20th century.

The cabinet sits on a slightly protruding plain plinth base.

The cabinet comprises of a cupboard to the right hand side and a bank of seven drawers to the left. The cupboard opens to reveal six removable shelves.

The drawers and door are fitted with circular brass drop handles mounted on shapely pierced back plates.

The door is also fitted with a lock (no key is supplied but a suitable replacement should be easily obtainable if required), the door stays firmly shut.

The cabinet has an overall height of 40.5" (103cm), a width of 33" (84cm) and an overall depth of 15.5" (39cm).

This lovely vintage mahogany cabinet remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some minor wear and indentations primarily to the top surface and some minor mellowing to the finish.

This remains a very stylish and elegant vintage mahogany cabinet. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
