Care Assistants required for Nursing & Residential Home, Virginia Water, Surrey
Description
We are looking for exceptional people to share with other staff in meeting the nursing & personal care needs of our residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. To help in the care of the residents physical environment and in the general day to day activities of the home.
You will need to be educated to GCSE standard with good numeracy and literacy skills. An NVQ II in Care would be an advantage, or the willingness to undertake the same.
A working knowledge of the Codes of Practice issued by the General Social Care Council, computer literacy, and good general health, physically and mentally are essential as are an empathy towards older people and a kind and gentle manner.
You will need to be well presented, have your own transport and possess the flexibility to work weekends. Shifts are 7am - 2pm & 2pm - 9pm, 7 days a week. Rates of pay are from £9.10 per hour.
