My name is Steven, and I am a 24 year old 2015 History and Politics graduate from the University of Dundee *Upper 2:1 honours achieved*. I have also obtained 5 Highers at grade A including: History, Modern Studies, English, Spanish and Economics. I have been tutoring for the last two years and therefore have fantastic experience. I believe a key factor that has made my tutoring so successful is the fact I have went through all the exams my self, therefore I understand the work load required and also know the layout of exams and what usually appears.

Having understood the difficulty of going through and preparing for exams, I believe I have superb first hand knowledge and experience of what is expected in the exams and therefore how to achieve the best possible results. I am a highly organised, friendly individual who will strive to assist you in any way, whether it be in a particular area that you are struggling with or perhaps in several areas that are a key part of the exam.
Within the tuition lessons I am offering, I will provide a very structured lesson, focusing on different topics and areas each week covering all aspects that are required for the exam. While my help will provide you with direction of how to do well in the exam, I am also a believer that self study is hugely important. Therefore, I will also provide homework which will instil what has been learned in the weekly tuition classes and will in turn provide you with detailed study notes that will prove extremely useful in the lead up to preparing for the exam. I will also be happy to take away essays to mark and provide feedback on each week. I believe that such structure will assist in producing great results in the exam, as it has done for myself previously. I will offer lessons of 1hr and 15 minutes, which I believe is ample time to cover a core topic each week in addition to recapping last weeks work and any homework/essays completed. I However, longer lessons can be required upon request and depending on my availability or just 1 hour lessons if that is also required.

I am also available to assist in University level Politics and History-with a particular focus on providing advice on how to structure essays and therefore achieve great grades. I have a lot of previous examples of my work, which will allow you to understand how to do well and what is required.
