We have a vacancy for a full time receptionist with secretarial experience (37.5 hours per week).

We are a small accounts/taxation company in Edinburgh City Centre with a team of friendly and hard working staff.
The role
The successful candidate will work as a key member of a small team, with responsibility for a range of administrative duties. These will include receiving and welcoming visitors, answering the telephone, updating diary for meeting rooms, copy and audio typing of correspondence, reports and invoices, scanning, monitoring answering machine and fax, taking messages for absent members of staff, secretarial work for tax consultants e.g. keeping diary, arranging travel etc. some basic data inputting as well as holiday cover for the Personal Assistant to the owner.
The person
The successful receptionist/secretary will be computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office (particularly MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint). Accurate audio typing speed of 60wpm and excellent spelling and grammar are essential.
The role of receptionist/secretary requires a smartly dressed individual with a professional telephone manner, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, the ability to work on your own initiative and the motivation to get the job done and the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. Experience gained in a similar administrative role is essential.
Hours of work are Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm. Punctuality is crucial although time flexibility previously agreed is a possibility.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
