I have for sale my Fluval Roma 125 litre fish tank. It is several years old and has received a fair bit of wear. However it is perfect if you’re looking for a cheap tank setup.
The tank has a few algae stains on the glass and a few scratches that are visible when the light is turned on. However they do not detract from the viewing.
The tank has had its original T8 lighting removed and replaced with two 24W T5 lights and it uses an Arcadia Ballast which is in good condition. This alone is selling for £30 on Ebay.
The lid area was customised by the previous owner to allow an external filter to fit (please see the photographs). This is on both sides and has meant that part of the tank has been cut away. However as this is at the back there is no real noticeable difference.
Please note that the lid has also been customised however it is likely this will need to be repaired or replaced. The lighting and lid fixture combination will probably last another year or 18 months before replacement or at least repair is essential. (Please see the photographs).
The cabinet also comes with tank. This is also slightly worn (mainly internally, where there a few screw holes) but from the outside it’s largely ok. Externally there are two screws in the right side (please see the picture). The mechanism is also missing from the left cabinet, so can be difficult to open (it no longer worked so was removed). You should be able to find a replacement cheaply and easily.
Also included is the aquarium heater as seen in the picture. I think it’s an Interpret one. It has quite a few algae stains, as it is a few years old.
