Care 1st Homecare is a well established Homecare Provider. We are able to give all our care workers very good and stable hours.
We are looking for care workers to join our teams in Westbury On trym, south mead, Henbury, Redland etc
We pride our selves in recruiting and training people to become fantastic community support workers who help people remain in their own homes.
We are looking for flexible, dedicated and enthusiastic people who want to offer high quality support to our clients. Generally our care workers work an early shift starting at 7am and/or evening shift from 4.30-10.30 PM. We also provide bank waking and sleep in night shifts from 10PM to 8AM.
Duties include: the delivery of personal care, meal preparation, housework, shopping, companionship and other roles within the Service User's home.
We are able to offer regular schedules of work but stress again that flexibility is vital and therefore full time, part time and Bank / Flexible carers are required.
Previous experience is useful. However, it is more important that you are a caring person. We will need to take references from your previous employment. Some of the key skills for this type of work include:
• Good communication skills
• To be able to work on your own initiative without constant supervision
• To be reliable, punctual and flexible
• To have a caring personality
• Have a driving licence and car
