Stockperson to opperate dairy unit

Stockperson to be responsible for the daily running of a 200 cow autumn calved dairy unit.

This position is ideal for a motivated person wanting to get involved in running a dairy unit.

The unit is located near Dromara Co. Down. We would prefer the stockperson to be within 30 min of the unit.

Neccessary Skills:

Herdsmanship: (milking, feeding, minor veterinary, calf rearing)
Machinery: (telehandler, tractors, milking plant)
Communications: phone, email, app based programs, excel, and herd book programs

Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to work alone or as part of a team.

Able to drive to unit. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required. Weekends/nights checks required.
