Vehicle overview: Hi here from my personal collection is a 2008 Peugeot Vivacity 100 Air Cooled 100cc 2-stroke automatic learner legal scooter/ moped. Low mileage with only 1 owner from new and has been well looked after. This scooter is in good condition for its year. Very sort after bike now especially in this condition. Starts, runs and rides as it should do. Very nice top quality scooter from Peugeot. Sporty quick commuter/ scooter with 2-stroke engine freshly refurbished exhaust system. Starts on the button or easily by kick-start and pulls very well, will sit happily between 40-50mph with a top speed of just over 55mph. Some typical age related paint lift to the wheels otherwise overall very clean and tidy. Sold with a new 12 month TAX receipt* and a new 12 month MOT certificate so can be ridden away! Comes with key, new MOT certificate, new TAX receipt*, full V5 registration document and full purchase receipt
Overall condition (1 being for spares, 20 being showroom as new condition) :14. Good to very good condition for its year, clean and tidy. Has been very well looked after with no notable damage except for some typical age related paint lift to the wheels. Does have some minor age related wear and tear (see photos and watch the video). A very good example of this model. Very good engine with freshly repainted (VHT paint) exhaust system.
Mechanical condition: Very good, starts easily on the electric start button and Kick-start. Good battery fitted. 100cc 2-stroke air-cooled single cylinder engine. Plenty of power, idles very nicely, nippy off the mark and runs perfectly. No leaks at all. Auto-choke as standard working fine. Engine starts easily and runs very well.
Cosmetic condition: Good for its age. Has some marks, scratches and cracks to plastics but is solid and has nothing that needs attention. Paint on wheels showing signs of typical age related paint life due to corrosion. This bike is in its original colour scheme. Please view the photos and watch the video. Seat cover is very good with no splits.
Electrics : Everything works, no faults to report.
Test run: Runs and rides nicely, quick off the mark and rides as it should do. Very quick little scooter, shoots up to 50MPH with ease and wants to keep going. Pulls cleanly. Runs and rides superb! Handles great and sounds awesome (see video).
Brakes: Good working order. Powerful disc brake at the front and predictable drum brake at the rear wheel.
Suspension: Good working order front and back with correct dampening.
Tires: Both tires are good to very good with approx 70% tred remaining front and rear.
MOT? : This scooter will be sold with a NEW 12 MONTHS MOT CERTIFICATE.
TAX? :This is my scooter and will be sold with a NEW 12 MONTHS TAX RECEIPT post auction end*.
*- As of 1st October 2014 if the buyer wishes to take advantage of having a new 12 months TAX receipt included in the sale then it will be their responsibility to make the sure the bike is insured from the agreed day that the seller will arrange to TAX it from otherwise the bike will be sold untaxed with no reduction of the sale price.
