Description
Hello. Help. Urgent. In need of flatmate from 7th of August. Admittedly short notice but organisation is not my strong suit.
It's a double room - well, double bed frame and king sized mattress. The room comes furnished with a chest of drawers, a wardrobe and a glorious view of the Costa across the road.
The flat is non-smoking, fully furnished and has really good gas central heating (Which I rarely use. Bring a jumper). We had the windows done a few months ago with new insulation and it's really made a difference to how warm the flat is in winter. We're not allowed pets, and I'm more upset about that than you are. The kitchen is a cracker and has a dishwasher, which is a bonus to people as lazy as me. There's a spare room/box room which is great for having friends/strangers in our personal space.
We recently had the bathroom done and it's got a really good electric shower over the bath. There's also a disco ball in there. Obviously.
Cost breakdown per person:
Rent: £375
Deposit: £375
Council tax: £80
Electricity: £15-£20 per month
Gas in summer: £20 per quarter
Gas in winter: £40 - £50 per quarter (depending on how much of a dick you are)
Buses that go by: 11, 15, 16, 23, 36, 45 and loads more within walking distance.
We have a private landlord, so no dealing with those cowboys down at the letting agency, am I right? The flat is available on the 7th of August. Need someone to move in/pay their way from that day as I can barely afford half the monthly cost, let alone all of it. Not available to couples and we're looking for a six month minimum stay, preferably longer so I don't have to type (copy, paste and amend from previous flatmate) this out again. New flatmate will also be required to provide references to landlord.
Current flatmate: 23 (24 on the 28th of July, feel free to bribe me with birthday presents) year old 'adult' male. Work full-time in a brewery Monday to Friday, hence the adult part. Hobbies include playing rugby/football to a below-average standard and criticizing contestants on Dinner Date. Oh, and drinking. I drink.
Lastly, in order to arrange a viewing for the flat, I require that you pass a quick vetting process. In addition to telling me a bit about yourself, Id like you to tell me what your menu would be, were you to enter Dinner Date. Complete with puns and a theme if possible. I wish to be wooed.
Cheers,
Stewart
