Two children (8 and 12) after school nanny 4 afternoons/early evenings a week

We are a family looking for a warm, cheerful and completely reliable person to pick up our 9 year old daughter, going into year 5, from Muswell Hill Primary School at 3.30pm and be in contact/meet at home our son who will be in year 8 at Fortismere.
This would be 4 or 5 days a week (which days are negotiable) and £10 an hour with a minimum of 3 hours paid each day. Term time only as I am teacher, however, there may be opportunity to work odd days over the holiday.
After school the children either come straight home (off the Colney Hatch Lane) or go to different activities after school. When they come home they like to have a snack, relax and then do homework or do something at home they enjoy. When they are doing something after school they need dropping off and collecting and like to have something quick to eat to keep them going.
I am usually home by between 5.30 and 6.30pm and cooking a meal is sometimes required, however, at times I do work late and on those evenings dinner is needed and I sometimes leave something prepared and sometimes it needs organising.
The person does need to have experience of looking after children and experience of special educational needs would be advantage but not essential. My son is on the autistic spectrum and although mild he does need someone to be patient and kind and support. My daughter is very sociable and loves to have people over for tea and their competing needs need to balanced as both benefit from individual attention but are very different.
Our current nanny is going to university in September and we would need someone to start at the beginning of September. Any change is difficult and the person needs to sensitive to the kids getting to know someone new.
References required. Person living in the area preferred. No driving license necessary.
Ideal job for a TA in a school or for student or someone who wants part time work.
