volunteers needed to support adults with physical disabilities
Description
We are looking for volunteers to assist people with physical disabilities to go out and about.
Condition may include MS, recovering after the stroke, etc.
These opportunities are befriending roles where you will be matched with one person. The focus of this opportunity is to support people in reducing their social isolation and loneliness by connecting them back to their local community. You will be going out with the individual. Activities may vary depend on the person and your interests. Activities may include going around the shops, to the art galleries, cinema or for walk and coffee
