Junior Administrator
Description
New Mortgage Solutions Ltd are looking for an office based Junior Administrator for a busy Financial Services office in Chislehurst, Kent.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for day to day administration duties such as answering the phones and liaising with clients, booking meetings for the mortgage advisors, answering the door to clients, making tea and coffee for clients, running errands for the office, ensuring the post is taken daily, scanning and shredding documents and the general upkeep and tidiness of the office.
There will be full training involved so the candidate can assist in the progression of a client's mortgage and/or life policy which will involve calling lenders, faxing and posting documents to relevant parties and making sure everything is in place for the lender/provider to produce a mortgage offer/insurance to the client.
The candidate will also learn how to use our data protection system ‘Horizon’ which documents all the business carried out and allows us to send letters and emails to clients to clarify any advice given. Again full training will be given.
The position is for a full time role, Monday to Friday, basic hours of 9am to 5pm with alternate weeks being 9.30am to 5.30pm plus a Saturday morning on that alternate week working from 9am to 1pm (a half day is given in compensation of this Saturday time in that week). 20 days holiday.
Ideally candidates should be within easy travelling distance of Chislehurst. There is excellent career progression for the candidate prepared to 'go that extra mile' and who can see themselves with a future in financial services. No previous office experience is necessary, but those used to working in a busy fast paced environment and being able to work alone as well as part of a team will be a valuable asset.
As this is a Junior Position it would ideally suit someone in a first or second job who is looking for an opportunity to build a career in one of the UK's most profitable sectors.
