Female vocalist/musician looking for band
Description
I'm a female vocalist looking for other musicians/vocalists to create music with who have similar tastes as myself.
My influences include PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Portishead, Little Dragon, James Blake, Disclosure, Queens of the Stoneage etc.
I am looking to do either one of or a combination of alternative/rock/electro.
I have a guitar, bass, autoharp, and a micro synth, all of which I can play to some level or another (apart from the synth which is a rather new purchase and I am still learning how to use it). I tend to write my songs on the autoharp.
I don't have a car, and live in Caernarfon, so I can only travel to places I can reach by bus from there. I also have a small basement that could potentially be used as a practice space.
I have always wanted to be in a band but have never managed to get anything properly organised.
I am looking to be able to do some local open mics, recording and gigging when we are ready.
I can send you a link of one of my demos if you want to hear what I sound like. I don't have anything recent and my vocal ability has definitely improved since those recordings but it will give you an idea of what to expect.
