Description
We are 28 mph, a hard-edged Glasgow based Rock/Grunge band comprising of a guitarist, bassist and drummer, and we are searching for a new vocalist/lyricist as we start a new chapter for the band. We already have a wide and varied back catalogue of tracks ready to go with more unfinished tracks to complete.What we are looking for from you is the ability to make our existing songs your own as well as contributing in the creation of new tracks.
Ideally we are looking for a gritty melodic singer (we are not interested in screamo) who is available to dedicate time to the band, minimum of a 3-hour practice session a week. To fit to our line up, we range from mid 20’s to early 30’s, we are looking for someone in their 20’s or older. It would be helpful if you could provide a sample of your singing.
We are planning to record material as soon as possible before we recommence with live gigs. Our style/influences would include rock, American punk, metal and grunge. We have quite a varied sound and samples of our music with previous vocalist can be found on YouTube and Soundcloud, just search for “28mph”.
