Experienced General Manager Required at Liberté
Description
We are looking for an experienced General Manager for our new independently owned bar & bistro in Glasgow City Centre.
Our ideal candidate must have a passion for food and drink and a wide knowledge of the Glasgow bar scene.
You should be a 'can do' type of person, who has a real passion for customer service and the industry.
You will thrive on the challenge of a quick paced work environment, tackling all aspects of the role and utilising all methods to meet targets, forecasting turnover and ensuring correct levels of stock and staffing. Comfortable with all issues of cellar management. Able to build on a good relationship with kitchen manager.
You will be a happy person in your own life and have the drive to succeed and to take personal ownership of your own development to be a success in this role.
You will provide and/or provide for training and coaching of the full team to ensure exceptional customer service and the highest of standards. You will then lead by example.
Experience in the following areas are essential -
Ability to work unsupervised and using own initiatives
Extremely strong customer service focus
Strong Social Media skills
Extremely computer literate and familiar with online reservation systems, forecasting tools and spreadsheets.
Strong and proven excellent stock and cellar management
Stylish and up to date with latest trends in cocktails, mixed drinks and music
You will have the ability to work to targets for wage percentage and GP

Salary will be commensurate with experience of candidate.
