Job Title: Company Accountant

Location: Pershore

Salary: £25,000 dependent upon experience

Job Type: Full time Permanent Position

Hours: 09:00 - 17:30 (Monday - Friday)

Established in 1994 and Based in Pershore, our client is highly respected and regarded as a major player in the UK commercial catering industry. They offer full turn-key solutions in the procurement of Commercial kitchens, from design, project management right through to delivery and installation.

Due to continued growth, the company is currently seeking an experienced Company Accountant to join their fast paced and busy finance team.

Job Role:

As the Company Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are met. You will play a key role in the month end process and ensure that communication lines are clear between individual department managers and the board of directors. On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include;

* Full Financial Accounts up to Trial Balance
* Weekly and Monthly payroll
* Oversee Sales Ledger, Purchase ledger & Credit Control
* Cash Flow
* Weekly sales figures
* Forecasting & Budgets
* Nominal Reconciliations
* Vat
* Stock Control
* Monthly Management Reporting & Accounts Pack

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, switched on, have a good work ethic and the ability to manage your own workload whilst supervising 4 members of staff. This is a hands on role, you will be expected to support and help out other members within the department.

* Experience within a similar role is essential
* AAT qualified or similar
* Computer literate with working knowledge of accountancy packages
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Good understanding of accounts/nominal codes
* Able to remain calm in stressful situations
* Professional and personable with good communication skills
