Live out Nanny / Housekeeper to look after a 3 year old girl & country cottage
Description
We are looking for an experienced Nanny/Housekeeper for 4 days a week.
Core hours are 0730-7pm with flexible time off in the middle of the day to suit nursery pick and drop off.
You will be responsible for a 3 year old girl - full of energy and fun.
This is a Live-Out position and to be considered you must be based within 30 minutes of the East Malling area, due to your required assistance with the nursery run and getting home safely after babysitting etc.
This is very much a team effort and the family are very friendly and informal.
The Principals are extremely hands-on and so this role is almost a Mother’s help/ Housekeeping role. The home is in s beautiful setting with orchard walks through the garden.
Your time will be split 70% Nanny duties and 30% Housekeeping.
You will also be asked to run errands as and when needed, so we’re looking for someone who is switched-on and happy to pop to the post office, dry cleaners or super market etc. Once a week there will be home cleaning duties as well.
A confident cook would be very much welcomed, so please let us know if you are able to whip up simple family meals as this will very much go in your favour.
A UK clean driving license and car is essential.
The family are looking for you to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role and are looking to take the right individual for long term employment.
You must have a relaxed and flexible approach to your work and be happy in an informal yet professional environment.

Key qualifying criteria:
Experience with children of a similar age group
Up to date DBS/CRB check
Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Based within 30 minutes of the East Malling, Kent area
Full of fun and energetic ideas
Like the outdoors and animal friendly as potential puppy on the horizon.
Salary: Dependent on the right person but very generous - open to discussion.
The position is available due to our dearest current nanny getting married and starting a family herself - we will miss her dearly but excited for her as well.
