Sales & Admin Yogi
(20 hours per week)
Role
The Sales & Admin Yogi’s primary role is to follow-up both retail and trade sales leads and to convert these leads into sales. It will be your responsibility to maintain an outstanding, memorable form of customer service throughout this process.
You will be supported in your role predominately by the Sales and Marketing Yogi, who is responsible for the generation of new leads and overall customer communication.
It will be your responsibility to maintain and update inventory data and to make any necessary updates to product information online. You will also be responsible for the administration side of dispatch. Booking in the orders each day, and following up with customers as necessary.
You will perform rotated stock checks, highlighting any discrepancies and updating inventory as appropriate.
You may be asked to perform additional duties outwith your day-to-day role as instructed by your line manager.
Training will be provided!
Main Responsibilities
• Assist with dispatch of orders (appx. 60 mins per day) on an ongoing basis, as required. All members of the team do this together each day.
• Use call sheets provided by your line manager and the Sales & Marketing Yogi to follow-up new leads (90 mins per day). This will predominately involve speaking with yoga studios and teachers throughout the UK and Europe.
• Where your wholesale clients are concerned, you will become their sole point of contact within the business. Developing a strong rapport and friendship via phone, email and social.
• Check voicemail messages and answer customer enquiries over the phone.
• Respond to all tickets assigned to you each day.
• Escalate customer complaints to your supervisor as appropriate and highlight any potential issues in our weekly meeting.
• Gather customer reviews and feedback collected over the phone, online and via email and present in a monthly report to your line manager. This will be discussed in the following weekly meeting as appropriate. Positive reviews and feedback should be placed online where appropriate.
You will attend a monthly meeting with your line manager in private; here you will have an opportunity to raise any personal issues or concerns in relation to your role. This time will also be used to discuss your goals, achievements and any setbacks.
Hours of Work
Working hours are 12pm – 4pm, Monday – Friday. (Start and end time can possibly be adjusted if required.)
Potential to expand into a full-time role within 6 months.
Salary
£9360 per annum
Required Skills
• High energy person with the ability to both manage your own time…and work as part of a small team!
• Experience of sales over the on the phone is essential.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Competent with IT – Microsoft office, experience of ticketing/email and updating websites within a company would be desirable.

We are a small online company based in the heart of Edinburgh with a passion for all things yoga! We have been supplying yoga equipment throughout the UK and Europe for over 15 years. As a team, we will be working very closely to build the yoga shop with our partner businesses over the coming months.
