I am selling my much-loved Samsung AV520 laptop as I have upgraded to a more portable (but less powerful) one for my travels. This machine has served me very well and still works great.
The machine is supplied with a genuine Windows 7 license (disc not included) but has been upgraded to Windows 10 and freshly reinstalled for sale. This machine has mostly been used for work and media. With a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 6GB Ram under the hood, it will have no problems with the highest definition cinema and has a HDMI out to connect to external displays (and also VGA). There's also 500GB of space to store everything on and I can supply the machine with a copy of Microsoft Word 2007 free of charge if you like. The machine comes with the original charger and a soft, zipped carry case.
The machine also includes 4 x USB2 ports, SD card reader, CD/DVD drive, headphone and microphone ports.
The machine functions great and has been well-maintained while I have owned it. The motherboard was replaced a year ago and it has been regularly reinstalled with Windows to keep it running fresh. The battery is still in good condition (see pictures). I have noticed that the screen very occasionally flickers at low brightness settings which is quickly remedied by increasing the brightness. There are also two cosmetic marks on the machine. The first is a dent in the corner where a cup was dropped on it and the second is a tiny crack in the underside of the chassis, both are pictured.
This is a fantastic machine that I would keep until its dying day if it weren't so bulky and impractical for travelling purposes. they often sell for over £100 on eBay so I'm looking in the region of £90 for it.
