For sale is our wonderful Campervan 'Pearl'. She has served us well after 8 years and we are reluctantly selling her, but our kids have now grown up and we have decided to move into a new phase of our lives with a newer van. She's given us many, many happy memories and we would love her to go to someone who will have half of the memories we have had and take on and love her like we have.
We have taken great care of her and invested in her over the years so that she is in the best condition now to hand over to the next custodian(s).

Engine / exterior:
MOT until November 2016 (last one went through 1st time)
2.1 DJ water cooled petrol engine - Smooth and runs like clockwork
5 Speed - cruise at 70 on the motorway and not have to shout at each other to hear yourselves!

I will now list a couple of things that need to be taken into consideration. Please understand that this is a classic car and now 27 years old and even though in great condition is by no means perfect.
Front Drivers seat has a tear in the fabric and needs patching or replacing - the seat covers are starting to get a bit tired but its a fairly simple job and we thought the next owners may want to customise it themselves.
Engine can produce some smoke on start up - this is a common feature with these engines due to warn valve seats and is absolutely fine after a few moments - I have been taking this van to a reputed garage with a rolling road and it is running like a dream.
The bodywork has been well looked after and repaired as soon as signs of rust have started to show.
We recently replaced the rear tailgate as the previous one had started to corrode due to a leaking screen washer pipe. - I managed to find a perfect 2nd hand one online (they are like rocking horse pooh - V rare!) and had it replaced. The new tailgate does not have a heated rear screen so I have taken it of the old one along with the rear wiper motor and these will be included in the sale if you wish to change it in the future.
I spent months looking for the right spec'd van that had the right engine and gear box along with all the interior features. You really wont find a better Van that is right hand drive and has as much to offer. These Vans are becoming more scarce and will continue to go up in value so a great investment.
We are advertising the the van privately also so may remove the listing if successful elsewhere.
