Human Resources Assistant Part-Time Job Share
Salary: £19,000 pro-rata

We have an exciting job share opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant to join our busy team working up to 20.5 hours per week.
In this pivotal HR Assistant role, your main responsibilities will include:
• Co-ordinating the complete employment cycle (recruitment, starters, inductions, leavers), ensuring adherence to best practice and employment law.
• Assisting the Manager in the delivery, development and implementation of an effective HR service supporting the company to achieve its objectives.
• Updating the HR system, producing various reports, completing KPI data and statutory surveys as and when required.
• Dealing with daily correspondence and communicating with various stakeholders/managers throughout the company.
• Providing advice to employees and managers on employment legislation.
• Sourcing, co-ordinating and monitoring corporate training events, e-learning, recruitment campaigns and staff events.
• Mentoring and coaching as required of the HR apprentice to achieve required objectives.
The successful candidate will have:
• Proven experience of working in a Human Resources team
• Good problem solving, communication (written and verbal) and decision making skills.
• An ability to time manage, set priorities and work to deadlines.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office and staff databases.
• Knowledge of employment law.
• An awareness of commercial requirements of the business.
• An ability to build effective relationships with a range of employees and various stakeholders.
It is highly desirable that you hold or are working towards a CIPD qualification (level 3 or 5) or equivalent. Previous experience of the housing sector, whilst advantageous, is not essential.
