**BTEC ICT Teacher ** Alternative Provision**September Start** Will Suit a Mainstream ICT Teacher
An excellent opportunity has arisen for QTS or QTLS qualified ICT teacher to join a dynamic and supportive staff team at a very successful Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Croydon.
The Unit provides full time education for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils with Behavioral, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD). Typically these students are referred from the Local Authority due to being excluded from mainstream provision. Some can display challenging behaviour in the classroom, but they are taught in classes of between 5 and 8. We are not looking for a new ICT teacher for the school.
The provision is teaching BTEC for science and ICT. You should be an experienced BTEC ICT teacher who has excellent presence in the classroom and is confident at building strong relationships with challenging students. This is a great opportunity for a successful mainstream ICT teacher who is looking to progress their career within this environment and benefit from a long standing staffing structure that will offer unrivalled support.
